If you’re unfamiliar with sporting clays… to put it in a “shot shell” Sporting Clays, sometimes referred to as “Golf with a Shotgun” consists of a series of natural and unique shooting fields connected along a course trail. At each field (or station), participants attempt to shoot airborne clay targets simulating gamebird wingshooting (and even a couple of bouncing “rabbit” targets). As teams of 4 people tour the course, they each take turns shooting at a set of targets. Scoring is easy—each target equals one point and the shooter with the most points wins.

The San Jose Police Foundation applies all entry fees and sponsorship dollars toward needed projects unfunded by the department. Your fees are tax-deductible to the full extend of the law.
